COLLABORATIONS & PROJECTS
Often working under NDAs, Kat can’t talk about the big brands and fancy hotels she works with. Some projects she can talk about are…
RONE'S Empire
A multi–sensory installation spread throughout the deserted Burnham Beeches mansion in the Dandenong Ranges. Drawing on the elements of the installation, Kat created a scent for each wing - summer, autumn, winter and spring.
QT Melbourne
Kat created a custom scent bar for Mother’s Day, with perfume accords inspired by Pommery Brut Rosé Royal Champagne. Hotel guests chose their favourite accords which Kat custom blended, bottled and finished with a personalised label on the spot.
William Versace's Directions Back Home
“I took her for a walk, and I was like, “can you make a scent for my exhibition?” And she said, “Fuck yes.” So there are two separate smells. There’s a bushland smell, that’s made out of eucalypt resin and different shrubs, and barks, mushroom, a native geranium, lantana. And then as you walk through the exhibition, you'll come into another smell, and that's a more coastal oceanic smell, which we made from different seaweeds, sea urchins and also small bushland scrub, so you’ll also be able to smell the place in the gallery.” William Versace.
